Bio/Description

Hello! I am Ananya, a junior from Jaipur, a city in northwestern India. I'm majoring in Molecular Biology and pursuing a certificate in Quantitative and Computational Biology and Applied and Computational Mathematics, as well as a minor in Computer Science.

On campus, I am currently working on studying the substrates of the ClpP protease in E. Coli as a research assistant at the Wühr Lab. I am also part of the Naacho Dance Company!

Some of my favorite memories from my first year at Princeton were made exploring the campus and everything it has to offer! Be it planning picnics in Poe Field, playing pool for the first time, or eating out at Nassau, I loved meeting new people and discovering new spots within the orange bubble.

In my free time, you can find me at the gym or attending a spin class at Dillon, hanging out with my friends, or doing my Duolingo lessons. I love sitting in Cannon Green on a sunny day, grabbing a snack from Coffee Club, and watching the sun set from the tall windows at Carl Icahn lab!

Through my experiences as an international student at Princeton, I have learned how to meet new people and find your community- through joining clubs, attending student-organized events, and trying new extracurriculars.

I'm so excited to meet all of you this year and cannot wait to get to know everyone! I'm here to address any questions or concerns you may have – Princeton or beyond!
