Welcome to Yeh College! As your Assistant Dean for Studies, I am here to support your academic goals, especially during your first two years. I work closely with your peer academic advisers and faculty advisers. I am excited to get to know you. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or stop by my office to introduce yourself, discuss your interests, or chat about anything on your mind.
Prior to Princeton, I worked at Penn State University, where I specialized in helping students who had not yet decided their majors explore and identify their academic goals. As an undergraduate at the University of Chicago, I was also unsure about what I wanted to study and considered various subjects ranging from literature to biology to geography. After college, I worked in public health for several years before earning my Ph.D. in sociology from the University of Pennsylvania. As a sociologist, I have conducted research on the production of popular culture, specifically the role of truth and celebrity in reality television production. I also do research on academic advising and am editor of The Mentor: Innovative Scholarship on Academic Advising. I am originally from the Philadelphia area and love exploring cities, walking for exercise, watching mukbang, and a good burger. I look forward to meeting you!
